FAQ/Short List of Services


Thank you for your interest in Hercules Delivery Service. Here are the answers to some of our most commonly asked questions and a short list of our services.

Hercules has two warehouse locations in Florida. One is located in Miami, just minutes away from the Design District of Miami. Our second Florida warehouse is located on the west coast of Florida in Ft. Myers, just a few miles away from the International Design Center.

We attempt to open and inspect all items within 48 to 72 hours, from Monday-Friday, excluding holidays. You can find our hours of operation on our Operating Hours page. After inspection is complete, Hercules will notify you with an itemized inventory of received merchandise. There is a minimum inspection fee of $15 per piece, per shipment. Prices may very pending size and weight (eg. crated items).

Any damages or issues found at the time of inspection will be documented, and a claim will be initiated by notifying you, the client. Hercules will forward all documentation (pictures & documents) to the designer and/or showroom. The client is responsible for all follow-ups and finalizing their own claim. Hercules does not take responsibility for hidden or manufacturers defects. The inspection fee paid should not be considered an insurance policy. Our inspections are limited to apparent damages only.

Hercules will provide quilt wrap services along with set-up and trash removal. All delivery fees are based on ground floor installs with a two-man delivery crew. Furniture that needs to be carried upstairs will be charge based on the number of flights our team has to navigate. Incidental charges may be applied to special request deliveries, additional manpower & unforeseen circumstances at no fault of Hercules.

Hercules will provide a delivery crew and the necessary equipment to complete your delivery and installation. We will provide the necessary required manpower and trucks.

Established clients receive their first 30 days of storage free. All storage fees are due at the beginning of the month and must be paid in full. Long term storage must have a valid authorized credit card on file.

All third party dock pickups will incur a fee based on number of items, their size, and equipment needed. Please call or email our office for a quote.

Hercules will honor written quotes only. Verbal estimates are estimates only, and may not be honored.

All clients must submit a credit card application to keep on file in order to complete our customer records. All payments are due upon delivery unless authorized by Hercules in writing, in advance.

Deliveries are made Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm EST. Deliveries and pickups requested on special days and times will be charged additional time-and-a half of delivery cost. There will be a labor charge for receiving and/or delivery of oversized or heavy pieces requiring special handling and equipment, including glass & mirrored furniture. On large deliveries, Hercules reserves the right to charge a trash removal fee of $65 minimum, pending weight of the load.

All damages or issues must be noted on the delivery ticket, and signed off before our delivery person leaves the residence. Hercules does not automatically assume responsibility for damages or issues noted at time of delivery. All issues and or damages must be reviewed by Hercules to determine the source. If Hercules is determined to be at fault, we reserve the right to repair the item. If the item is in need of replacement, Hercules must receive a copy of the invoice from the designer or showroom at their cost.
