Your pieces can leave New York months before the house is ready

Most of what goes into a residence is specified long before anyone can move in. The sofa is finished and the workroom wants its floor space back, the lighting has been sitting at the showroom for weeks, and the completion date on the house has already moved twice. That stretch between a finished piece and a finished room is the part of the project we take off your hands.

Our truck runs the East Coast every month in both directions and collects from showrooms, workrooms, private homes and freight docks along the way. New York is by far the busiest stop, because that is where most of the sourcing happens, and the route also takes in Brooklyn, Long Island City, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Washington, Charlotte, Atlanta and Boston. A project can draw from several vendors in different cities, each finishing on its own timeline, and every piece goes on the next run south once it is ready. Send us the address and we will tell you when we are next nearby.

Everything lands in one warehouse in Miami

Your pieces come into our receiving warehouse at 2150 E 11th Ave, Miami, FL 33013, a few minutes from the Design District. Within 48 to 72 hours of arriving, each one is opened and inspected, and you get a notification along with an itemized inventory of what came in.

Every piece is photographed and logged against your project with the vendor, the reference number and the condition it arrived in. When a client asks where the dining chairs are, or a vendor wants to know whether their shipment made it, you can look it up yourself instead of digging through old emails. If something arrives with a problem, we tell you that same week and send the photographs and paperwork you need to take it up with the vendor, which leaves months to put it right before the room needs it.

Order when the vendor is ready and install when the house is

With your pieces in our warehouse, the vendor's schedule and the builder's schedule no longer have to line up. Established clients have their first 30 days of storage included, and after that a project can stay with us for as long as it needs, whether that means a few weeks between phases or a build that has run months past its date.

Residences rarely finish all at once, so projects can go out in stages as well. If the primary suite is ready while the kitchen is still a construction site, the pieces for the finished rooms go out first and the rest stay logged with us until their rooms exist. When a date finally holds, everything for that room arrives together.

The run works northbound too. Designers use it for a client's furniture heading up to a home in the Northeast, or for a piece going back to a workroom for a change.

Install day belongs to the room

Deliveries run Monday through Friday. The crew brings everything in, unwraps and assembles what needs assembling, places each piece to your plan and hangs the art, and they take all the packing and wrapping away with them when they leave. Quilt wrap, setup and trash removal are part of every delivery.

They stay while you look at the room, and if a piece belongs somewhere else they move it, including after you have seen it in the afternoon light. When the building needs a freight elevator booking or a certificate of insurance, your client or the building manager sets it up and we arrive within the window they give us.

The New York pickup and the Miami install are one booking

Designers working this route often end up coordinating a shipper in New York and a separate receiver in Miami, then passing paperwork and dates back and forth between the two. With Hercules it is one booking from the vendor's door to the finished room, and one company answerable for the whole trip, with insurance carried from pickup through install.

The same family has run Hercules since 1984. The reviews below come from designers and clients who have trusted us with work like yours.

Hercules was outstanding in every respect. Truly White Glove service! Moving our furniture from the Port of Miami 7 hours up across the State to Fernandina Beach, then fixing pieces that had been damaged in the trip to the US, and finally assembling and placing each piece throughout the house. We have moved 31 times and our experience with Hercules was absolutely the best ever.

I recently used Hercules White Glove Delivery for a temporary move. The team was punctual, professional, and handled everything with great care, including some fragile items I was a bit nervous about. Communication was clear throughout, and they made what could have been a stressful situation feel totally seamless.

Yes, and that is what most designers on this route do. We collect each piece when the vendor has it ready and hold it in Miami until the residence is. Established clients have their first 30 days of storage included.
